Waders a Plenty

Today was a good day for waders in Dhahran with large numbers of small waders on the settling pond and then nearby scrubby desert and Black-winged Stilt there and the percolation pond. The following were seen:-

Little Ringed Plover - 14
Kentish Plover - 8
Black-winged Stilt - 10

Top photgraph is a Little Ringed Plover followed by a Kentish Plover.

Other good birds included:-

Blue-cheeked Bee-eater - 3
Sand Martin - 1
Caspian Reed Warbler - 1
Clamorous Reed Warbler - 8
